Hi, I'm Eimear - a celebrant based in the heart of county Clare, creating legal wedding ceremonies, funerals and other meaningful life ceremonies.
Originally from Dublin. I spent eight years living in Madrid and speak Spanish fluently. My own love story brought me west to Clare, where I now live with my husband and 3 young children.
After more than 20 years working in Communications, I followed a natural shift towards more personal storytelling through supporting people mark their own important life events with Burren Ceremonies. It is a real privilege to work closely with couples and families to create ceremonies that feel honest, thoughtful and true to them.
My approach
No two ceremonies are the same.
I work closely with couples and families so that your ceremony reflects your story, your values and your way of doing things. Whether you'd like something traditional, spiritual, non-religious or a blend, everything is shaped around you and what feels right.
There's no set format - we'll work through it together. From readings to symbolic elements like handfasting or unity candles (or none at all), every detail is considered at your pace.
What you can expect
I bring a calm, professional and friendly approach to every ceremony.
I understand that planning - especially for a wedding or a funeral - can feel overwhelming. I'm there to guide and support you throughout, making everything feel clear and manageable.
On the day, my role is simple: to hold the space, tell your story well and create a ceremony that feels natural, meaningful and easy to be part of - with warmth and, when it's right, a gentle touch of humour.
